Cyber Essentials

Is a Government scheme backed by the National Cyber Security Centre. It was designed to reduce the risks from phishing and other low level hacking attacks, by implementing a set of sensible and pragmatic security measures that can be put in place by any size of company. Government and Public sector buyers increasingly require their suppliers to have achieved the Cyber Essentials certification. Most importantly though, it shows your organisation takes cyber security seriously and that you have taken sensible precautions to protect yourself from the most common threats. It is simple to achieve through an easy self-assessment process. We can optionally provide you with support and guidance through the process. The scheme may qualify you for a level of free Cyber Insurance. Contact us for details.

Cyber Essentials Plus

Extends the scope of the Basic Cyber Essentials scheme via an independent audit that checks and tests your defences to ensure they reach the CE Standard. It focusses on five key areas to ensure you have adequate defences in place. These are: Boundary Firewall and Gateways, Secure Configuration, User Access Control, Malware protection and Patching. We will check a representative sample of your infrastructure for common vulnerabilities across these five areas. Based on this testing we will create a report that will detail any shortcomings and what should be done to address them. This service will give you and your management team peace of mind, and could save you organisation considerable cost and disruption in the long term. Contact us for details.
